Wears out fast
These aer OK for trimmer line. However they wear down faster than other lines I have used on various trimmers. I tried soaking them in water before using. That didn’t seem to help. I would like to see more of a variety of different lines for the PULSE.
Not what its cracked up to be
I bought the quick change and this cord and the blue cord last longest out of the 2 i have to replace the thicker grey cord more often than the blue spiral cutting same things weeds grass the grey is stiff and breaks before the blue I regret buying the thicker grey
Works well
The trimmer and cords work well even on tough 4 foot tall weeds. Delivery took three weeks however. Customer service responded to my complaint immediately and for some reason I got my order the next day. We use 4 battery powered products from DR. All work well.
WOW, SOME KIND OF TOUGH!!
I used two of these, right out of the package (no, didn't take time to soak them in water). I've used them through one deep discharge of the battery in all kinds of weeds, grasses, etc. and only lost about 1" (maybe even less) on each string! Frankly, to me this is just downright amazing!! Supposedly these strings will do even better after soaking in water. And yes, I've got several in a water bottle. Yes, it would appear, since I ordered two more packages upon purchasing the new machine, probably have a life time supply!!! 😂😂😂
Q.Can I use the 11 pre-cut cord in my gas-powered Trimmer?
A.Thank you for your interest in the 95 mil cutting cord. The 11 cord is designed to be used in the DR Pulse 62V Battery-powered Trimmer. You will need a longer cord in the gas-powered Trimmers. This cord is available in a 250' roll that will allow you to cut the length you need. Please see the chart above for the correct length for your trimmer. A.Thank you for your interest in the 95 mil cutting cord. To extend the life of your cutting cord, we recommend storing your cord out of the sun. UV can damage your cord, causing premature wear. Keeping your cord hydrated will also help. You can do this by soaking the cord in water for at least 3 days prior to using. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
