Yes this product has features that others don't
Everything about this tester was great except one thing the numbers are really hard to see unless you lay on the ground to read If it had a larger numbers it I would give it a excellent grade. Thank You

Q.Does the meter give separate readings for nitrogen, phosphorus, and potash, or does it give some sort of combined number?
If a combined number, please explain!
A.Thank you for your inquiry. The meter reads all three individually. The scale of each is calibrated to a single needle and each element can be read independently. Q.If this is a "Mini", how does it compare to a larger size soil tester?
Your comments refer once to a "Mini Four- in - One Soil Tester." How deep do the metal prongs probe into the soil? Does it matter? Do you get a useful reading of the soil if most vegetable roots extend about one foot beyond the depth of the prongs?
A.Thank you for your inquiry. The prongs insert up to 5" deep and are capable of giving you an accurate reading down to a foot below the surface. That being said, these are not "industrial" testers, which can read several feet below the surface. These are designed for garden use. I hope that this answers your questions.
