DR Compact Disc Harrow
This Disc Harrow is ideal for breaking up clods of soil after plowing, providing a smooth surface for planting game food plots, cover crops, or large vegetable gardens. Can also be used effectively to uproot and destroy weeds in sandy soils. Ten offset notched discs can be adjusted to dig as deep as 4.

Modifications Should be Made
The U bolts holding the discs to the frame are very close to the bar ends. The equipment takes a beating and even with lock bolts one of the u bolts came free twisting a vertical support requiring a significant amount of work to bend the implement to make it work again. Opportunities to make this high tolerance proof easily.
Truly a bad experience....
1. It took a month to receive this item which is not acceptable. 2. This thing came in kit-form. It takes a couple of people to put this together and figure out the assembly surprises on the fly. 3. The Harrow has difficulty mounting on a 2" ball (Sledge hammer required) - I'll have to grind off the burrs on the ball attachment to get it to properly fit. 4. Heavy but not heavy enough. I'm going to weld a couple of plates on the top so I can add some cinder blocks to get the weight that I need. 5. Last time that I will buy direct (or at all). The good news. It's relatively inexpensive The bad news...you get what you pay for.
Quality Product
Quality product but would like to have seen a rear weight box for additional weight. Bounces around going from tractor turned garden to this product. Great for ruffing up land for seeding.
Food plot disc
Disc is well worth the money. It does great in the woods and also does good in the field for food plot.

The Herald does not work as good as I thought it would in thick grass area but in an area that was plowed until the year before it works real well the area that I'm Parowan up it's thick grass cover and it's taking me longer than I expected to get it to the where I want it
Q.Can I adjust the angle of discs? Anyway to load more weight on harrow? 500 cc ATV big enough to pull this unit?

Q.Can I pull with 500cc ATV any feedback on how it would disc a field that’s sandy soil that has been worked up over last 5 years. Looking for one attachment that will cut soil and turn in cut wheat/oats
A.Thank you for your question. The Disc Harrow can be towed by an ATV, UTV or utility tractor. This is especially designed for wildlife food plots, small gardens, row cultivation, and new lawn prep work. It can easily cut a depth of four inches. It would be able to work in the soil.

Q.DR ATV Disc Harrow - I don't know what I'm doing I am trying to prepare a 1 acre site for wildflowers & they suggest tilling the top 1 inch. Is the Harrow Disc capable of only tilling the top one inch or if you can suggest another implement that you tow behind a four wheeler.
