Self-Propelled for Easy Operation
Our PRO SP model steps up from our entry model by adding 1) Self-Propulsion (with three forward speeds and one reverse), 2) 33% more collection capacity (8 cubic feet), and 3) an onboard chipper that lets you dispose of branches up to two inches in diameter as you work your way around the yard.
We also include bigger front tires (14”) and a flexible skirt on the intake snout that will ride over roots, rocks and other irregularities on your yard without jolting the machine to a stop—so you can keep the intake close to the ground (maximizing suction power) and work with fewer interruptions.
The transmission uses our EZ-Turn™ steering technology so you don’t ever have to wrestle with the machine. The PRO SP is powerful, easy to use, and has the highest collection capacity of any walk-behind vacuum available!

EXTRA LARGE COLLECTION BAG
Handles up to 8 cubic feet of debris, allowing for less frequent dumping than competitive models. Uses easily accessible side zipper bags for fast and effortless emptying. Bag is quickly detachable (without use of tools or hook and loop fasteners) for discharging contents away from the machine.
POWER ASSISTED DISCHARGE
By opening one or both of the side flaps, then starting up the engine, the impeller will provide a blast of air that will blow contents out of the bag quickly and efficiently.
ADJUSTABLE INTAKE HEIGHT
From the operator’s position the collection snout can easily be adjusted from 1” off the ground (for maximum vacuum power) to a maximum of 5” (for less suction, or to create clearance for uneven terrain).
FLEXIBLE INTAKE SKIRT
Flexible rubber border on the intake rides close to the ground to maximize suction but rides easily over roots, rocks, and uneven terrain.

Usually don’t give reviews but after today I think I need to let others know. The first bag busted along seam on right side after using 3 days. They did replace it and today during my 3rd round of picking up leaves the same seam busted. Not running at full speed and was emptying when it was 3/4 full. Also, self propel works well on driveway and flat ground but we have a slight incline in our yard and it does not pull the incline without much assistance from me. My wife was hoping to be able to use as well but she said she didn’t know if she could based on how much work I was having to do instead of just walking behind vacuuming up leaves. I would not recommend this product unless they get the bag busting issue fixed and you have a very flat yard. Like I said earlier, pulls great on driveway. If they can’t get bag issues fixed I will be returning to vendor I bought it from.
DR Leaf and Lawn Vacuum
I like this product. Everything seems to work fine. I have one complaint. What does the bag lock do? Your instructions do not cover this lock, its purpose, or how to engage it! Please let me know what this feature is all about!

DR Leaf Vac SP Pro
DR Leaf Vac SP Pro is clearly not as effective as online DR representative said it would be. Prior to purchasing the leaf vac I asked him if the DR machine would pickup acorns dropped from my trees. His answer was an empathic, “Yes…as long as they are not stepped too deep into the ground.” My experience thus far is no matter how low I drop the pickup chute the machine leaves nearly all acorns on the ground….even on my asphalt driveway. Very disappointing!
power drive is a must
Small rear tires always go flat the engine is just too loud muffler is not adequate for this size of engine and yes I have have the best ear protection I could buy
Work horse with one big flaw
This is a great and powerful machine. I have an acre with 25 trees. 3 weekends and the job gets done. It will clog with sticks and tough to dislodge. My big sorrow is the weakness in the bag behind the intake hose. Holes have started and the seems are split. This after 18 months.
Q.Can I use this machine in mulched areas???
A.Thank you for your question. The machine would suck up a lot of the mulch.

Q.I would like to use this unit to pick up lawn trash. I oversee a large Manufacturing Operation. People discard a lot of cigarette butts in the parking lot that ultimately find there way into the grass around the lots. I would like to use this unit to pick up these and other paper type trash. In theory this unit should work out well for this task but I would like to get your input/thoughts about this. If the butts are loose on the ground i don't foresee any problems but after a rain fall an drying the butts seem to get "stuck" into dirt areas. Do you think this machine could be capable of contending with these? Respectfully, Tom Matechik
