This could be much better with some effort
I'm in my 4th season with the DR tow behind leaf vacuum. When it is working well, it makes short work of all the leaves, pine needles, and pine cones on my property. The problem is, DR used plastic to make parts that should be made out of steel. I have been through four of the plastic exit chutes due to holes being punched through the curved section by stones that get sucked up. To their credit, DR replaced all but the last one under warranty. I finally got so fed up with these chutes failing that I fabricated one out of 1/16" steel. The other item is the mower deck attachment. After going through two of these I finally ordered an adapter from Cub Cadet, who also makes my zero turn mower. No problems since. This season, I had to replace the canvas bag (?) because the seam in the back came undone and was blowing debris out of it. Lastly, the bed, which is made out of plastic, is cracking in multiple places where it bolts to the frame. Those areas need to be reinforced somehow. I will need to buy a new bed within a couple of seasons, I estimate. The money for replacement parts add up. The only things that haven't given me problems yet are the wheels/axle and engine (thank God). I am giving two stars instead of one because, like I said, when it is working well it is wonderful.
DR Leaf and Lawn Vacuum PRO XL330
There are some serious flaws in this unit. I've had it for about 2 weeks and the tube going into the catcher is already cracking through and the hose has cracked in two places. Jury rigging it to reinforce the tube, taping the hose, using bungee cords to hold parts of it down. Other than that, it works GREAT. Great suction (which I think the company needs to address - the hose and chute aren't prepared for the force that comes through them). I own a golf course and it is keeping up with the leaves. I don't regret the purchase but hope the company can come up with other material options for the areas that are failing.
Poor design, could be improved
The positives are the engine is powerful and mulched leaves with ease. The negatives in my opinion out way that though. The material the hoses are made out of is very thin. The second time I used the machine the main hose tore and needs to be replaced. The design of the trailer frame feels cheaply made, the canvas spits out leaves constantly. If the canvas flaps were about a foot longer in the cart this might stop this problem. The rivet and hose clamp system to secure various hoses doesn’t secure the hoses well and causes them to slip off constantly. The extended hose is the same cheap material. The handle to the house is only held on by zip tie and seems cheap.
great machine but...
Purchased the Pro XL330 earlyer the year and just started using it. I pull it with a 19 HP Troy Built, 46 inch cut with high lift blades. It does a clean sweep just like the videos. Lately it has been very dry so it is very dusty using the leaf sucker. There is enough dust that it plugs up the top air outlet screen, there is enough air pressure to lift up the top and blow the leaves out of the trailer back on the ground as you go. You need to stop every so often and beat on the canvas and the dust will blow through, wear a mask when it's this dusty. The hose does break in sharp turns, just like the other reviews say, be ready with a new hose. Now the worst part, the wheels come with a grease zurk but the bearings are sealed on both sides, and the bearings are not lubricated. The 4th time I used the leaf sucker it started making noise. When I check out the noise the bearings were completely gone on two of the wheels and going bad on the other two. These are very cheap bearings. If your going to use the DR wheels take a pick and pop off the inside bearing seal so the grease can get to the bearing before installing the wheels.
A must for yard cleanup
This is my second lawn and leaf vac. I’ve first one lasted for more than 10 years and I could not have taken care of my yard without it. The new one is even better. More power and innovations. This is a great pice of yard equipment.

Q.Can this attach to kubota zd323
A.Thank you for your question. Since that is a zero turn mower it should be compatible. You will most likely need an extension hose kit. Please check the measurement specifications on the product page to be certain.
