Q.What makes the lift work.
Do you jack it up by pumping the handle, Or do you use it like a pry-bar and lift it by your self. Please explain in detail. I don't own this but interested. Thanks Gary
A.Basically, the tractor is lifted by rotating the handle down to the ground with the wheels as the pivot point allowing the other end to lift the tractor up. You would use your foot on the Foot Bar to apply pressure and then when the Handle is on the ground you would move the Stabilizer Bar to secure the Lift while the Tractor is raised. Here are the instructions, Engage lifting claws to lift bar. Place foot onto footbar while keeping lifting claws engaged to lift bar. Apply slow continuous pressure to foot bar while bringing the handle towards the ground. While applying pressure with foot, bring the handle slowly towards the ground. The tractor lift is securely in place when the curve in the handle is resting flat on the ground. Remove wingnut from stabilizer holder bolt. Slide stabilizer bar off footbar. Replace wingnut. Rotate stabilizer bar so stabilizer bar foot pad is resting on the ground. Slide stabillizer bar back onto footbar. Stabilizer bar should properly be in place under the tractor. It makes more sense with the pictures in the instructions, but I can't display them, sorry!
